ITEM DESCRIPTION:

A mint OB modern era Lionel Rail Chief Set #6-51201 for sale. 0 gauge. The overall condition is mint – NEVER BEEN RUN! All lettering is intact, and the paint is immaculate. This set is pristine, in fact, only the 51202 Head-End Car, 51203 Rail Chief Combo Coach and 2 of the Connectors have been removed from the box previously, as the other packaging is completely undisturbed! Its wheels have NEVER been placed on track, let alone run!

For obvious reasons, when photographing these items, I only removed the 51202 Head-End Car, 51203 Rail Chief Combo Coach and 2 of the Connectors, as I could see that their packaging had been previously opened. If you would like further photographs, and you’re a keen buyer, I will furnish you with the photos of the unopened items (if required).

The box is in great condition and all side flaps are intact. It contains the original plastic wrapping (2 big clear sheets that cover the inside of the box), plastic wrapping over the 51203 Rail Chief Combo Coach, 51204 Rail Chief Combo Coach and 51205 Rail Chief Observation (the 51202 Head-End Car does not have the white plastic wrapping), the red “extraction” ribbons (2 per item – but one is missing on the 51203 Rail Chief Combo Coach), plastic wrapping on the 3 Coach Connectors, silica gel packets, cardboard end inserts (one is missing from the 51203 Rail Chief Combo Coach), the big polystyrene box, the red Rail Chief box, and the original OB Outfit 6-51201 box. This set is absolutely incredible. All the items in this set have lived their entire lives boxed. They were never displayed, and therefore have never been exposed to any elements. When I say mint, I mean MINT – absolute perfection – one in a million!
